Bibby Offshore appoints Stuart Jackson

Bibby Offshore Holdings Limited (“Bibby Offshore” or the “Company”), a leading provider of subsea installation, inspection, repair and maintenance services to the offshore oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Jackson as Strategy Director. Stuart will also be appointed to the board of the Company with immediate effect.

Stuart’s appointment follows his working as a consultant during the Company’s recent high yield bond issue, where he worked directly with the Company’s Chief Executive (Howard Woodcock) and Finance Director (Neale Stewart).

As Strategy Director, Stuart will focus on the delivery of the Company’s growth programme and will be based in London; frequently travelling to Aberdeen and other Bibby Offshore offices.

Stuart has over 30 years experience in the energy sector having worked in exploration & production, power generation and offshore services throughout Europe, North Africa and Asia.

Howard Woodcock, Chief Executive of Bibby Offshore, commented:

“Stuart is an asset to the team at Bibby Offshore and his work during the recent bond process demonstrated his value to the Company. Stuart is experienced and knowledgeable on the subsea service industry and myself, and the rest of the Board, look forward to working with him as we continue to grow the Company.”

Stuart Jackson, Strategy Director of Bibby Offshore, commented:

“Bibby Offshore is a very impressive company and I am excited by the opportunity that my role as Strategy Director creates. The Company is clearly going places - as it looks to grow and expand, both in the core market of the UK North Sea and internationally. I look forward to working closely with the Board and the whole team at Bibby Offshore to deliver the Company’s growth programme.”

Stuart was, most recently, Chief Financial Officer at CEONA, which is a Goldman Sachs Capital Partners backed company operating in the offshore services sector. He also worked for seven years as Chief Financial Officer of Acergy during which he performed an integral role in taking the predecessor company, Stolt Offshore, through a full scale debt and equity restructuring, re-setting the group strategy and growing the business materially before the merger with Subsea 7. Stuart is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University.
