Bibby Offshore Limited 2017 Gender Pay Gap Report

News Item - 29th March 2018

From April 2017, in line with The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 all organisations that employ over 250 employees as of 5th April 2017 (snapshot date) are required to annually report their gender pay gap. Bibby Offshore Limited are therefore required by law to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under this regulation and to publish the results on our company website.

People often get Gender pay and Equal pay mixed up. It is important to understand that Gender pay is an equality measure that indicates the difference in average earnings between men and women. Equal pay on the other hand means that men and women performing the same role must receive equal pay as set out in the Equality Act 2010.

Gender Pay Gap

We can use Gender Pay Gap results to assess:

  • the levels of gender equality in our workplace
  • the balance of male and female employees at different levels
  • how effectively talent is being maximised and rewarded

The challenge in our organisation and across Great Britain is to eliminate any Gender Pay Gap.
